How to get full marks for knowledge?
Knowledge marks are awarded when students answer the question. If the question asks for a definition, the knowledge mark is for providing the definition. If the question asks for a factor, the knowledge mark is for identifying a correct a factor. If the question asks for an effect, the knowledge mark is for identifying a correct effect.
How to get full marks for application?
Application marks are awarded when students relate the answer to the information presented in the question. If a question asks about the causes of, say, inflation, based on the data, then it is important that students refer to the information in the extract, rather than provide generic causes of inflation. Students should also backup their answer by providing quotes or references to the extracts of figures.
How to get full marks for analysis?
Students will get full marks for analysis if they are able to clearly explain their point. This is often done through a combination of definitions and a chain of reasoning, but often a diagram can get you many of the analysis marks.
How to get full marks for evaluation?
This does vary depending on the question. But generally, evaluation marks are awarded when students are able to explain that the point they made in their KAA paragraph may not always hold true and by explaining the factors this theory depends on. And sometimes, it could be a counter-argument to your main point.
